Troops lose thousands in £1.5m property firms crash | Mail Online

Soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan are among the troops who face losing more than £1.5 million after the collapse of two companies set up with the backing of the Ministry of Defence to help them buy homes.

Blue Force Property and Blue Force Services went into liquidation while holding about 350 accounts on behalf of soldiers posted overseas with an average deposit of £4,000 each.

The troops now have little chance of recouping their money.
