Buckland House near Faringdon in Oxfordshire has been voted best restored Georgian country house of the year. The judging panel of the Georgian Group Architectural Awards arrived at the house to find it almost exactly as it would have been at the turn of the century when Winston Churchill and Edward VIII were guests there at shooting parties.
