Russians hurry to Surrey: Leafy Virginia Water has championship golf, easy access to London and plenty of overseas buyers | Mail Online

The Russians are taking over from comedians, quips estate agent Rupert Wyatt, of Barton Wyatt. Certainly, they are making up the new aristocracy at the Wentworth Estate, Virginia Water, Surrey, where TV’s Bruce Forsyth is a long-term resident.
But it’s not only entertainers and oligarchs who lay claim to the estate, which has the four golf courses of Wentworth Club at its heart. Fittingly, golfing royalty such as Ernie Els and Sir Nick Faldo have lived on the 1,750-acre patch, too.
