FT.com / FTfm / Investment strategy - Strong commercial property yields lure buyers
Henderson Global Investors recently bought, on behalf of its investors, a supermarket with a 14-year lease to the UK’s market-leading Tesco chain, complete with five-yearly rent reviews, with a yield of 7 per cent. In contrast, a Tesco bond of similar tenor yields nearer 4 per cent.
