FT.com / Property & Mortgages - Property demand rises but sellers cautious
Demand for property increased for the first time since June as a reduction in prices pulled buyers back into the market, according to the latest report on the housing market.
The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) registered an increase in the number of house-hunters from 218 in October to 241 in November. But despite higher demand there was a decline in the average number of properties available for sale per estate agents’ branch in October at 64, down from 67 in November.
