propertytalk Live! - Wiltshire council homes ready for Christmas

propertytalk Live! - Wiltshire council homes ready for Christmas

Christmas has come early for Wiltshire tenants as the first council homes to be built in the county for around 30 years are handed over to their new families.

The 14 new homes in Trowbridge were completed by builders Wainhomes this month, with a further 17 scheduled for completion in February next year. The first tenants moved into their homes this week.

These will be the first council-owned homes in Trowbridge since the authority's housing was transferred to West Wiltshire Housing Society (now known as Selwood Housing). People can bid for the houses through the Homes4Wiltshire scheme.
