Plans for £74m eco-development in Oxfordshire | News | Inside Housing

A planning application for a £74million eco-development has been submitted by a housing provider in Oxfordshire.

Housing association A2Dominion and eco-development company P3Eco have applied to Cherwell Council to begin the first stage of the project in Bicester to create 393 homes.

This first stage, known as the ‘Exemplar’, is intended to be a model community and many of the pioneering ideas used here will help inform the masterplan for the later stages of the development.

The planning application also seeks planning permission for an energy centre, a nursery and a community centre, plus an eco-business centre and an eco-pub.
