As ‘Mr Motivator’, Derrick Evans was the face of fitness on GMTV in the Nineties – but even he finds it difficult to keep up morale at his fortress home in Jamaica.
He has become weary of running an activity centre in the grounds of his house over the past decade, not to mention the rising levels of crime, and wants to sell for £1.5 million.
Ten years ago Derrick finished building a spacious home set in the hills overlooking St Ann’s Bay on the beautiful northern side of the island, installing zip wires and quadbiking courses in 40 acres to cater for the 1.9 million annual tourists.
