The 2022 World Cup will be staged in Qatar and that's bound to have an impact on the housing market. In fact, shrewd property investors have wasted no time turning their attentions to the tiny Gulf state, with a population of 1.6 million.
Within hours of FIFA's announcement, Ivanka Trump, the 29-year-old daughter of property mogul Donald Trump and executive vice-president of development and acquisitions for the Trump Organisation, visited Qatar to meet with potential property partners.
