Spanish properties 'still attractive to British buyers'
British property investment professionals continue to be interested in buying Spanish real estate, according to an expert.
Robin Wilson, head of overseas at Rightmove, has said Spain will remain popular among UK property buyers in 2011, adding that he does not see "any signs of Spain losing its number one slot for Brits looking to buy abroad".
His comments come despite the National Statistics Institute revealing data last week which showed that the number of property transactions in the European nation declined by 0.4 per cent in 2010 compared with the year before.
The international property expert went on to say the firm is still seeing "healthy traffic and interest for quality properties".
