Assetz® News - Burnley 'cheapest for property'

Would-be UK property owners or those seeking buy-to-let investment opportunities can purchase a home in Burnley for as little as £30,000 after new research showed that it is the cheapest place in England and Wales to snap up a house.

Figures from the Land Registry housing data service revealed that four of the top five streets with the lowest house prices in England and Wales are in the Lancashire town.

Angle Street in Burnley has an average house price of £32,400, making it the cheapest street on the list. Elmwood Street, Spencer Street and Colville Street in the town were third, fourth and fifth respectively with values below £40,000.

  1. There are some great bargains to be had on new homes in Burnley. With plenty of services and local amenities on hand, the contemporary town of Burnley, is on the up. Buying a house now, is a great bet for the future!
