The Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis told the world that the Gunners had made a loss of £2.5m in the first half of this season, but was still in a very upbeat mood about the financial state of the club.
He also said that there will some more land around the Emirates that would be sold for residential or business purposes, but he said that all the money would be ploughed back into the team and to make Arsenal more successful on the pitch.
Gazidis said: “We are in a very healthy financial position.
“We will see some more one-off property opportunities that we have over the next few years.
“We are driving hard to improve our commercial performance and will see that over the next few years.
