Henley on Thames - Business - Open house scheme offers refreshing approach sales

Henley on Thames - Business - Open house scheme offers refreshing approach sales

FOLLOWING the incredible success of the previous few years, Strutt and Parker will open its doors on Saturday, March 26 to properties from every single one of its 27 regional offices showcasing a huge variety of properties currently for sale.

Members of the public will be able to register and then are able to view properties across the UK at a time that suits them between the hours of 10am and 4pm. This is the biggest year yet for this innovative scheme created by Strutt and Parker back in 2009 and will feature a huge choice of properties from cute cottages to large stately manors.

The concept is based on the idea of creating a more informal setting for viewing. A potential buyer can view a house for as long as they want to, giving them more control and flexibility over their time. There is less pressure and no hard sell which if often off-putting to potential buyers. The sellers benefit too as they can enjoy putting their property in the spotlight for a day, which avoids them having to spruce it up, day in, day out, for one viewer. It is a win-win situation for everyone involved.
