Boris Johnson’s blissful garden provokes row - Telegraph

With its pink facade and views of Primrose Hill, Boris Johnson’s childhood home is something of a London landmark. Now, the imposing Victorian villa is the subject of an acrimonious row over plans by its new owners to dig a huge cinema and gym beneath the back garden.

“It was a lovely garden and it would be a great shame to do anything that may spoil it,” says Stanley Johnson, the father of the Mayor of London.
