Harry Potter author JK Rowling plans to build Hagrid's hut in her back garden | Mail Online

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has put forward plans to construct a building in the grounds of her Edinburgh mansion that has an uncanny resemblance to one of her character's homes.
The 'lodge', which is thought to be a form of folly, will sit at the bottom of the writer's formal Renaissance-style gardens at the site where there is currently a house.
Just like Hagrid's lodge, where he accidentally tells many things to Harry, Ron and Hermione whenever they visit, the building will have a conical roof, a spire, a chimney and stone steps up to the front door.
