•Canadian real estate marketing company Point2 announced 11 new listing syndication partnerships, bringing its total number of North American partners to almost 240. “[This] signifies that more MLSs, associations and boards are moving to ensure that property data online is consistent, accurate and available to consumers in a timely manner,” said said Saul Klein, senior vice president of Point2.
•Chicago-based brokerage Dream Town Realty began using group buying website Groupon to promote its services, offering US$1,000 cash at closing for $25. •Listing syndication service Property Portal Feeder announced its entry into the UK market through a new partnership with rightmove.co.uk. “On numerous occasions, we have had UK agents come to us enquiring about our portal feeding service,” said Stuart Sermon, the company’s director. ”We had to turn them down as we simply did not work with the UK portals at the time.”
•Century 21 launched an ad campaign inside the “We City” mobile phone game, allowing players to build Century 21 branded structures including real estate offices, houses and skyscrapers. “Our integration with We City offers unique, in-game value to players as well as the opportunity to view videos from our newly launched ad campaign or install our updated mobile app,” says Bev Thorne, Century 21’s chief marketing officer.
