Pensioners could be spared having to sell homes as care costs set for £50,000 cap | Mail Online
The number of pensioners having to sell their home and spend all their savings on long-term care could be slashed under plans to limit bills to £50,000.
A commission of experts, appointed by Health Secretary Andrew Lansley is considering a cap.
Any care home fees and residential care such as home helps above this level would be paid for by the state.
