Tenants Chase Rental Properties in Oxford
A new research carried out by a website Spareroom revealed that there are at least 3 potential tenants for every property for rent in Oxford.
The demand is currently so high that every new property that goes onto the market becomes snapped in less than an hour.
Commenting on the findings of Spareroom, Mr. Urwin of Martin & Co Oxford, British letting agency, said that "applicant demand for rented properties is definitely on the increase. It has risen significantly. More people need to rent, particularly up to the age of 35, because of house prices, they can’t get on the property ladder." He also highlighted that the limited number of buy to let properties is putting pressure on prices and tenant demand.
