Bangkok Post : UK beckons Thai property buyers
The prime central London residential market continues to confound expectations and has recorded its seventh quarterly period of growth since March 2009, with values rising by 2.8% so far this year, said Prapaporn Boonkajornkul, manager of the property agency Savills (Thailand) Ltd.
Ms Prapaporn, who oversees promotion of UK property for Savills in Thailand, said the increase in Asian buyers in the UK is an interesting phenomenon.
Demand from Asian buyers, particularly from Hong Kong and Singapore, has contributed to the positive growth in values, although these buyers still trail purchasers from Russia and the Middle East.
