Property deal will see Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger handed £60m transfer budget - report - Goal.com

Arsene Wenger's tranfer budget is reportedly set to swell to £60 million, with Arsenal believed to have struck a property deal that will see the Frenchman receive a financial windfall.

According to The News of the World, the Gunners are set to announce the sale of some property in Queensland Road to Barratt Homes, in a deal which is expected to generate about £25m for the club.

It has also been reported that the former Monaco boss already has £35m worth of funds in his transfer kitty, so putting two and two together would take his spending power to £60m.

Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri have both been linked with moves away from the north London club, but it has been speculated that the manager could persuade the duo to stay by bringing in the talent necessary to achieve success.
