The best party pad in London? - Telegraph

The best party pad in London? - Telegraph

I walked past it twice before I found it. A flat-fronted cream building, on a quiet capillary away from the thumping tourist heart of Covent Garden, 23 Macklin Street could hardly be more anonymous. Step inside, however, and you enter one of the most extraordinary living spaces in London.

There are lots of ways to convert a warehouse. Some developers like to gut it entirely, leaving only the shell wrapped around a high-spec new interior. Many keep some of the features – exposed beams, or original brickwork – but include them in a much more modern space.
