It was the idyllic house she'd always dreamed of, but TV presenter Melinda Messenger and her husband Wayne Roberts have put their five-bedroom riverside home on the market after six years.
The picture-perfect property, with grounds of nearly five acres and its own private island, sits on the banks of the River Kennet in the village of Padworth, Berkshire.
It went on the market for £1.75million in May and now Melinda, 40, who presents New Cowboy Builders with Dominic Littlewood on Channel Five, has accepted an offer.
