New build property values bounce back after credit crunch as pre-owned homes falter | Mail Online
The average price paid for a new build property has increased by 8.8 per cent in the last year as values begin to recover from the crashes experienced between mid-2008 and the start of 2010.
The House Price Index from the Communities and Local Government found the average new build property sold for £201,101 in September 2011.
And during September, the price of a new property was up 1.2 per cent as they continue to outperform homes that are 'second hand'
