Repossession warning for homeowners who live in flood-risk areas | Mail Online

More than 200,000 homeowners who live in flood-risk areas face the threat of repossession because of a stand-off between the Government and insurers.

Thousands of homes on flood plains may be left uninsured because an agreement protecting them is not going to be renewed.

This deal means insurers will provide cover for homes in flood areas, providing the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) maintains spending on flood defences.
