Rightmove: House asking prices up 4.1% in a month as seller confidence rises | Mail Online
An upswing in seller confidence meant the housing market saw a 'surprisingly strong' spring bounce last month, with sellers hiking asking prices by the highest monthly amount for 10 years.
Last month, the average property asking price was £233,252, compared to £224,060 in January, according to figures from the Rightmove House Price Survey.
This month-on-month leap is the largest price change seen in the second month of the year since 2002.
