The hoopla about the Olympics, and the resulting property potential, made many think of Stratford. But the western part of London is fighting back. Fancy living in a power station, a historic concert venue, or an extension of west London’s biggest shopping centre? Well then, think west. For here a new boom is happening. As Westfield Stratford beds down in time for the Olympics, the Australian consortium behind the initial White City mega-development emphatically says it must have more space.
