In front of the bay window in the drawing room stands a grand piano, a clue to its owner's profession.
Opera singer Marion Wilmann has toured with Russell Watson, performed alongside Ricky Martin and appeared at the Royal Festival Hall and Globe Theatre.
The high ceilings and minimal furniture in this 40ft reception room make it acoustically very good, says Marion, who is set to give a series of recitals for friends, family and opera fans at home with renowned conductor Chris Gayford on the piano.
That is assuming the 39-year-old does not sell her property in North London's Stroud Green conservation area first. It is on the market for £2.25million through Chesterton Humberts.
