Million pound property sales drop for the first time in two years | Mail Online
The number of homes that sold for more than £1million fell 5 per cent last year - the first annual fall in million pound-plus property sales since 2009.
There were 6,911 homes sold for at least £1million in the UK last year, compared to 7,256 in 2010.
This is in stark contrast to the same report a year earlier, which saw a 55 per cent increase in £1million property sales in 2010 from the year before, the research by Lloyds TSB says.
