First-time buyers flock to Aylesbury in spite of high Buckinghamshire property prices - Local News - Bucks Herald

Aylesbury is a hotspot for first-time buyers, according to a report, despite research showing that Bucks has the third most valuable properties per head in the UK.

According to Experian’s PropertyCheck report, first-time buyers have been flocking to the town, where they make up 6.9% of households.
The figures make Aylesbury the tenth most popular first-time buyer destination in the country.
The news comes shortly after the publication of an analysis by website Primelocation, which found Bucks has a property wealth per head of £198,490, with a total property wealth of £98.8 billion.
Surrey had the highest property wealth per head at £255,125, with Dorset in second place at £207,220. The UK average was £89,918.
