We recently redeemed our mortgage with The Mortgage Works. We sent the money on June 22 and The Mortgage Works confirmed receipt.
Despite this, we have had harassing phone calls and threatening letters claiming we are in arrears. We have lodged a complaint, but are worried that our credit rating will be affected.
All this is causing distress to myself and my wife, who has a brain tumour.
