Landlord who owns 17 properties told by judge: ’Bring pyjamas to court next time’ - Courts, National News - Independent.ie

A LANDLORD has been warned by a judge that he faces "severe sanctions" including possible imprisonment, if he does not comply with High Court orders made in respect of a number of properties owned by him and his family.
Yesterday at the High Court Mr Justice Gerard Hogan said he was satisfied that Michael O'Brien was "in flagrant breach" of court orders preventing him from interfering with bank appointed receivers from taking possession of a number of properties.

He was also ordered to stop collecting rents from the properties, and to hand over to the receivers documentation relating to the properties by August 10 last. Similar orders were obtained against his wife, Anne O'Brien, and daughter, Aoife.
