History for sale: Henry VIII's old home is put on the market for £26m... (a LOT more than the £13,000 it was last sold for) | Mail Online
One of Henry VIII's country estates has been put on the market for £26million.
The price is a far cry from its £13,000 asking price in the 1950s.
The Old Rectory, a Tudor mansion, in Wimbledon Park, which is now part of south London, was once owned by the King, and dates back more than 500 years.
