The average price of a home dropped by £2,400 in October as a dearth of buyers accelerated house price falls, the Nationwide has reported.
The Natonwide house price index fell by 0.7% during October as buyers continued to stay away from the market. The average cost of a home in the UK dropped by nearly £2,400 to £164,381 during the month.
