Royal Wedding: Brits rent out homes to royal wedding tourists | 7online.com

"I have a big mortgage that needs paying off," said Edward Coram-James, flat owner.

To help pay it off, Coram-James has posted his two bedroom flat on a website.

He like others here in London, is hoping someone is willing to shell out big bucks to rent their property for the royal wedding.

"It's going to mean a lot to quite a bit of people, perhaps not as much to me, so it helps someone out and makes some money in the process," Coram-James said.

The going rate for his pad will depend on how long the person is willing to stay; 3 nights or more, about $600 a night, one day, $824.

Websites like www.iStopOver.com also offer other rentals and insurance for homeowners, something the 23-year-old admits is a concern.
