Stamp duty is up on million-pound homes, so how will the market react? | Mail Online

Millionaires are not what they used to be. For a start, there are so many of them. Look around you on commuter trains coming in and out of London, Manchester and Birmingham — millionaires are two a penny.
Thanks to property inflation, the millionaires club has been expanding faster than you can make a Chiltern Railways cancellation announcement.
Sadly for wannabe new members, the Chancellor wants more real money from anyone wanting to join — by ratcheting up stamp duty for properties worth £1 million or more.
