Average property price in national parks nearly £100k with New Forest most expensive | Mail Online
Homebuyers pay around £100,000 extra on average for a property in a national park.
A Halifax survey found the average price of a home in a national park in England or Wales is £293,920, 48 per cent higher than the average home in the respective counties, which is £197,827.
The biggest disparity was found in the Lake District, where homes in the national park are, on average, three times more expensive than in Cumbria as a whole.
