House prices bounce back to 12-month high | Mail Online
House prices have reached their highest level for a year, fuelling hopes that the worst of the property slump is over.
The average house price in Britain rose by £526 in July to £168,731, according to building society Nationwide.
That is the highest level since July last year, when prices reached £169,347, in a sign that the battered market may finally be recovering.
