Online House Hunter: Spotlight on Kew | Alan Cleaver | Independent Property Blogs

THE people of Kew are sitting pretty – in more ways than one. Not only do they live in one of the most picturesque parts of London, they have seen the value of their homes rise in the last 12 months.

The rise may only be 2.5 per cent (from May 2010 to May 2011 according to Land Registry figures) but that’s against a national drop according to Hometrack of 3.7 per cent. It puts the average price of a house for sale in Kew at £442,802 (national average is £161,823).
