A FORMER EastEnders actress was duped out of £18,000 by a fake property dealer, a court has heard.
Angela Wynter, 57, who played Yolande Trueman in the BBC soap for five years, claims she was conned by Paul Wheeler.
The actress met him through a friend in 2007 and he offered to help her buy property to let for her children’s future.
But he allegedly spent her £30,000 deposit on private school fees for his own three children.
Wheeler, 52, of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks, later repaid just £12,000.
