A SOCIAL worker who used £140,000 of illegal benefit claims to build a £533,000 property empire was jailed for 18 months yesterday.
Jennifer Myrie, 50, created two fake IDs to claim housing benefits, jobseeker’s allowance and income support.
Three relatives also got suspended sentences of four to six months for their roles. Myrie, who owned properties across London and Essex, admitted 19 fraud charges.
