Britain's remotest home up for sale - Telegraph

With breathtaking vistas and no neighbours for miles around, it is the perfect location for those wishing to escape the rat race.

But the owners of one of Britain’s remotest homes are selling up - with a warning to prospective buyers that “you cannot live off a view”.

Mike and Joyce Simpson are leaving their stone-built cottage on Scotland’s Knoydart peninsula, overlooking the Isle of Skye, after 30 years in splendid isolation.

The property is for sale at offers over £200,000 but the couple warn that living the good life is not for the faint-hearted.
