The unlikely combination of Michael Madsen, Frankie Cocozza and Ryan Giggs' former sister-in-law Natasha proved a hit for Channel 5 as its second series of Celebrity Big Brother was watched by 3.5 million viewers.
The two-hour launch show had a 15.9% share of the audience between 9pm and 11pm on Thursday but it was some way down on the 5.1 million who watched the debut of last year's series on Channel 5, the first since it was dumped by Channel 4.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother also features Loose Women star Denise Welch, former EastEnder Natalie Cassidy and Playboy models and twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon.
