Stuck at bottom of ladder: Stalled housing market means many owners don't have enough equity to move up | Mail Online

A generation of homeowners risks being stuck on the housing ladder because of a lack of equity in a property to ‘springboard’ to a bigger house or flat.

While the plight of first-time buyers is often highlighted, those who already own a house or flat can also be caught in a difficult position.
