Upmarket UK property finally hit by financial crisis - but London house prices still keep rising | Mail Online
The financial crisis finally appears to be catching up with upmarket property prices across the country as a whole - but not those in London.
The latest index by Primelocation.com, which specialises in top-end homes, shows that asking prices for prime properties - after nearly a solid year of rises - have at last taken a dip, down 0.4 per cent since the start of the year.
Although asking prices for all properties nationwide normally dip during the winter months, the owners of high-end homes appear to be feeling particularly ill-effects this year.
