Halifax hikes its new mortgage standard variable rate | This is Money
Halifax will raise its standard variable rate on mortgages for new customers to 3.99% in the New Year, it has announced.
The new rate is set to be introduced on January 4 2011 and will not affect customers with an existing mortgage.
