Capital Shopping Centres rejects request for information from Simon Property Group - Telegraph
The public spat between CSC and Simon, which owns 5pc of the British company, leaves the prospect of a takeover looking remote. The Daily Telegraph also understands that Westfield, the Australian property group and potential partner for Simon in a deal, participated in CSC's £220m placing last month. This suggests it backs the £1.6bn deal for the Trafford Centre, which sparked the placing.
