Divide between North and South house prices will grow even wider, predicts new research | Mail Online

A North-South divide in the nation’s financial fortunes and job prospects is also fuelling a growing gap in house prices.
Property prices are predicted to continue rising this year and next in London and the South East – which have been least affected by the recession and are a magnet for wealthy foreigners fleeing the eurozone crisis.
London prices are also being propped up by buy-to-let investors who are getting healthy rents from people who cannot afford to buy.
