Britain's property hot spots that have it all - Telegraph

Nobody does euphemism quite like an estate agent. See the cluster of terraces in that scruffy part of town? That’s a “village”. A new block of flats? Why, that’s an instant “community” - of course.
“Golden triangle” is another term that sounds suspicious. In some parts of Britain, however, the term is barely an exaggeration. It denotes the coming together of good schools, transport links, buoyant local economies and, most of all, first-class homes in beautiful locations.
Where these qualities overlap – as they do, spectacularly, in Yorkshire, Surrey and the West Country – property fortunes can be made. While in much of Britain’s housing market prices are stalling, if not falling, these gilded hot spots are bucking the trend. They provide a reliable investment, as well as a high standard of living.
