How do you decide where you want to live? And, just as important, how do you know if it is value for money?
House price indices tell only half the story — what you want to know is how highly rated it is by the people who live there. Put that against the price you have to pay and you are near a true measure.
A new website set up by property search website Rightmove is helping to do just that. The trial version of rightmoveplaces.co.uk was launched with a survey of more than 25,000 people in Britain who rated their towns and cities.
