'Britain's cheapest house' is placed on the market - but would you even pay £15,000 for it? | Mail Online
Its windows are boarded up, the paintwork is shabby and the number is painted on a piece of plywood jammed over the door.
And though £15,000 for a two bedroom house may sound like a bargain, property hunters may question the question of snapping up such a dilapidated purchase.
The terrace is on the market in Burnley, Lancashire - the country's cheap house capital - and estate agent John Dinsdale admits they may even take less than the asking price.
Mr Dinsdale, whose agency is marketing the house, said: 'The property is in need of comprehensive repair and renovation - hence the modest asking price.'
I wonder why they don't just knock them down and build something nicer that people want to live in?
